President Iran: “Israel tried to kill me, but they failed”
According to the president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, Israel tried to kill him. He expressed the accusation in an interview with the American journalist Tucker Carlson.
“They tried it, yes. They acted accordingly, but they have failed,” said Pezeshkian. “I was at a meeting, they tried to bomb the area where we kept this meeting,” added Iranian president. He showed himself convinced that “it was Israel”, according to a translation of his words by an interpreter. He did not say when the attempt would have been.
Arch enemies Iran and Israel recently ended an armed conflict of twelve days. The Israeli armed forces and the United States made attacks to prevent the development of an Iranian nuclear weapon.
In mid -June, during the fight, it came out that US President Donald Trump would have stopped an Israeli plan to kill the Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
