Israeli expats and left -wing Jewish groups in the US organizing protests in Washington, DC and New York against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit this week, Times of Israel reports.
The protesters call up to an end to the war in Gaza, the release of the hostages and help to the Palestinians. The protests will take place tomorrow morning.
The protest in Washington, DC, will be held near the White House and is supported by groups such as T’Ruah, J Street and the Israeli expat group Unxeptable.
“On the same day that Prime Minister Netanyahu will be in Washington for a meeting with President Trump, we will raise our voice and demand action,” says a statement from the groups. “Join us while we unite before an end to the bloody war in Gaza, for the release of all remaining hostages and for humanitarian aid that is rushed to Gaza.”
The demonstrators in New York are not part of a formal group, but are a result of a protest network that took shape in the US prior to the war in Gaza, amid the judicial revision efforts of the Netanyahu government.

The New York meeting will take place outside the Israeli consulate.
