The huge sum of 850 million euros should not be sufficient, even if it was only spent on the security of athletes, spectators and state guests. This was shown recently published by the French Court of Auditors, which, according to a first concrete estimate, stated that the Olympic Games and Paralympics 2024 in Paris went into safety.
“At least five million” foreign guests expected
The 625 million US dollars now approved by the Trump government must be taken into account that Kanada and Mexico are still incurring for two other hosts. However, most teams in the United States will get their quarters, played three quarters of the games there and mostly awaited fans.
According to the documents published by the congress, FIFA expects that “At least five million guests” will travel to the USA because of the World Cup.
Entry For maybe a quarter of all countries soon
Whether this number will be achieved depends, among other things, on whether Trump imposes entry bans against other states. Currently there is a complete ban on the citizens of twelve states, including Iran, whose national team is already qualified for the World Cup.
The ban partly applies to seven countries. As was shown in the case of the Cuban volleyball players, this can also apply to Visa.
According to media reports, there are plans in the US government to expand the ban on the ban by 36 countries.
Unscrupulous action against migrants

The money is intended to cover the personnel costs, the construction of deportation prisons and border fortifications, and also the protection of major sporting events. The special items Olympia and World Cup 2026 have a negligible effect.
