Luciano Vermeer, the brother of Mart Hoogkamer, has been sewn hard by the makers of Holland’s Got Talent. “I received a ‘yes’ from all jury members, but was then canceled.”

“In principle I went to the next round. I went home and I gave a very big party to celebrate that I was on. That same evening, during the party, I got an e-mail that I had not come through the selection. The jury had a ‘yes’ four times, but behind the scenes they also look at what fits well in the show.”
Really silly
The makers did not think Luciano fits in with the show. “Apparently I didn’t fit in. That was really silly. I had also done a lot of shopping for the party.”
He had specially organized that party because of his TV success. “Anyway, everyone was already there anyway, so we just went on. But it was a party with a different taste, it was of course super jammer.”
What does Tina think?
Tina Nijkamp was a channel boss of SBS 6 when Got Talent was still with that channel. What does she think? The format is just not correct, she says. “I have been annoyed by that for years. They have improved something last year by putting an interim round in between, because it was the case that about 30 seconds were in the picture after the auditions.”
In those thirty seconds, it was determined who could and who could not go to the semi -finals. “So -called than. They have improved that, but then it is very strange that as an auditant you can get a yes four times, but then never come on television again or go to the next round, because the production determines that you do not fit in.”
Acrobats
That’s just fake, says Tina. “For example, because they have too many singers or acrobats. Then a choice has to be made, but what is wrong with it is that it is not fair. This is actually the case with Holland’s Got Talent from the start: that format is not right. That is crazy because it is an international format that runs in many countries.”
