Dates, test games, training camp: The BTSV summer timetable

Eintracht Braunschweig is approaching the start of the new season in the 2nd Bundesliga with big steps. These are the appointments during preparation.
Eintracht Braunschweig will also play in the 2nd Bundesliga in the coming season. So much for the relegation drama won against 1. FC Saarbrücken. After the nerve-wracking season sprint, the BTSV professionals lingered on vacation for a few weeks.
Since June 20, 2025 at the latest, the view has already been aimed at the new season in the German House of Commons. The preparation started. The first game occurred.
On June 21, from 5 p.m., there was a benefit kick in the Eintracht Stadium on the “Eintracht Day”. The game was played in a family -friendly and humorous atmosphere in three times 25 minutes against the “Stair House Party” team, an initiative of entrepreneurs from the Braunschweig and Wolfenbüttel region.
It continued on June 25th, at 7 p.m., with a test game at the district league team MTV Hondelage, which the BTSV won 13-0. Four days later, on June 29, VfL Oker went against another district league team from the region – final score 12: 0.
Now the team travels to the summer training camp from July 4th to July 12th. In St. Johann in Tirol (Austria), the team is still preparing for the new season. In the meantime, test games against the Turkish first division club Istanbul Başakşehir (July 9, 5:30 p.m.) and the English second division club Plymouth Argyle (July 11, 1 p.m.) are on the program.
A week after the trip to the German neighboring country, the BTSV Bundesliga relegated Holstein Kiel (July 19, 1 p.m.) welcomes the stadium on Salzgittersee in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt. The official opening of the season is coming up again seven days later. In addition, Eintracht invited itself to the Dutch first division club FC Twente Enschede as a guest, against whom the BTSV will take the test on July 26 from 11 a.m. A second duel with the Dutch follows from 2 p.m.
On August 3, it gets serious again: Then the 1st matchday of the 2025/26 second division season increases. Eintracht must first go away from the 1st FC Magdeburg.
