After two championships in two years, Kerem leaves Demirbay (31) Galatasaray. The ex-DFB player switched to Eyüpspor within the Süper Lig, who narrowly missed the international business with sixth place last season. While the midfielder still had a significant part in the title as a regular in the first year, Demirbay for the Doubles winner in the past season was only 30 minutes on the lawn in 34 games.
“I am very happy to come to Eyüpspor, this is a new source of enthusiasm and motivation for me. Together with my teammates, I will work with all my strength to show my best performance on the pitch and to be worthy of our club and fans. I believe that we will achieve great success together,” said Demirbay, who is said to have signed a contract until 2028. Although the former Bundesliga player was bound to Galatasaray until 2026, no transfer should flow.
“First of all, we would like to thank Galatasaray and Mr. Dursun Özbek to make the transfer of Kerem Demirbay. Kerem is a quality player with a lot of international experience who played for large clubs in Germany and Turkey. Kerem came to us with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm,” added Vice President Fatih Kulksız.
