Swimming party from now on in Alkmaar: ‘The water flows, so you don’t have blue algae soon’

Nothing as wonderful as jumping in cooling water on a warm day. For the first open water Alkmaar event, the conditions were ideal: the water of the Hoornse Vaart was clean, with 21 degrees exactly at temperature and thanks to 500 enthusiastic swimmers it had a high social content. The typically Dutch decor with mills made the picture complete.
