Due to the accident there is a traffic jam from Hoogerheide beyond Bergen op Zoom. Two lanes have been closed in the direction of Belgium. It is not known whether and how many injured people have fallen in the accident and what the circumstances are.

Because the car was shot through the guardrail, the A4 was closed in the Sabina junction at the height of the Hoogerheide exit. Around ten past three only the left -hand lane is closed there

Repair work
Rijkswaterstaat reports that lanes will remain closed in the direction of Belgium. The road surface must be cleaned by a so-called ZOAB cleaner. Furthermore, the crash barrier must also be repaired. It is unclear how long all this will take.
