This morning there are still some showers over the province, but later in the morning it is dry again in most places. The rain leaves Noord-Holland through the north, Weerman Jan Visser says NH Radio. It is not cold: the mercury is between seventeen and nineteen degrees this morning.

Dry and strong wind this afternoon

This afternoon it gets dry and the sun gradually breaks through, according to the weatherman. The wind turns to the southwest and is moderate to fairly powerful. Along the coast and on the IJsselmeer and Markermeer it sometimes blows vigorously. According to Visser, the temperature is around 22 degrees.

The wind is decreasing again tonight and halfway through the evening the mercury is around twenty degrees. Next night a splash of rain may fall locally. Tomorrow it will be dry and the sun regularly shows itself, the temperature rises to about 23 degrees.

Summer weekend

This weekend the barbecue can be removed from the garage again. “It is then summer, thanks to a high -pressure area,” says Visser. Both on Saturday already looks promising.

Sun and stack clouds alternate on Saturday. It will be about 25 degrees and the wind blows from the west to southwest. The mercury increases even further on Sunday to around 28 degrees. The sun then shines plenty and the wind is weak.

Tropically warm at the beginning of next week

After the weekend, according to Visser, the ‘big warmth’ comes. On Monday it is tropical warm with temperatures around thirty degrees. On Texel and along the coast it will be around 28 degrees.

On Tuesday the temperature rises further to around 33 degrees. Next Wednesday the chance of rain will increase again. The temperature then drops something again and the chance of thunderstorms, according to the weatherman, increases again.
