João Almeida won the 7th stage of the Tour de Suisse. It was the second day of the day for the Portuguese cyclist.

Almeida from the racing team UAE Team Emirates – XRG is now the new second of the overall rating 33 seconds behind the leading Frenchman Kévin Vauquelin (Arkéa – B&B Hotels), who took third place on the 7th stage.

Daily second on the longest section of the Swiss tour of Neuhausen am Rheinfall to Emmetten with 207.3 kilometers on Saturday (June 21st, 2025) of the Scotsman Oscar Onley from Team Picnic Postnl.

Almeida, who had already won the fourth stage, was the fastest in the increasing final sprint. Onley also passed Vauquelin in Emmetten, who had driven an attack a few hundred meters in front of the finish.

Kämna forgives the last chance of overall victory.

The 28 -year -old Lennard Kämna from Wedel near Hamburg had to bury his last hopes for the overall victory. He became tenth on Saturday, his gap to Vauquelin is 2:55 minutes before the final mountain time trial on Sunday.
