Source & Co Oy, who sells The Other Danish Guy underwear under the auxiliary business, lost on Wednesday against actress Jasper Pääkkö, the so -called Kalsarikäjäs in the Court of Appeal.
The company was ordered to pay Pääkkönen compensation of EUR 300,000.
Kauppalehti’s analyst Ari Rajala says that the company was high -profile in 2019-2021, when net sales were approximately EUR 2 million. In 2019, the result was EUR 458 100, EUR. The following year, the result was EUR 349,300 and the result was EUR 229,600.
After that, the turnaround happened to the weaker. Net sales fell into the decline in 2022 and the result was EUR 3,600 to a loss.
The next year was even worse. In the extended 16 -month financial year ended in April 2024, net sales were EUR 1.5 million. The result was EUR 306,900 in frost. The dividend was not distributed.
Rajala says that thanks to years of success, the company’s balance sheet has remained in good shape.
At the end of 2024, EUR 1 million remained in equity and the company’s equity ratio is still strong, or 81 %.
At the end of 2024, the company had a moderate € 131,800.
Rajala says the compensation and costs of EUR 300,000 will be a burden on the company of the company.
– If the minor business -winning direction has not been corrected during the year, the payment of compensation will be economically challenging to the company.
Rajala says that one option is, of course, to realize the balance sheet value shares in the company’s balance sheet investments.
The company has no default or tax debt.
