A car burned out on Etstoelstraat in Assen last night. The fire was created around 1.30 am.
The burnt -out car was parked next to a number of other cars. According to a bystander, some local residents succeeded in moving their car, so that damage could be prevented.
That did not work in all cases. For example, two cars would have caused (slight) damage.
The fire brigade eventually extinguished the fire. The police are investigating possible arson.
