A 23-year-old Frenchman was arrested on Saturday evening in Prinsenbeek with twelve kilos of drugs in his car. The man himself also appeared to be behind the wheel under the influence of cannabis. The agents searched the man’s car and came across kilos of XTC pills and heroin blocks.

Agents stopped the car around eight in the evening on the Backer and Reubweg in the village. When the window of the car went down, agents already noticed a big henna air from the car. There was also a small empty grip bag on the passenger seat next to the man.

The 23-year-old man then handed the agents a bag with a small amount of hashish. During a saliva test it turned out that the man was indeed under the influence of cannabis. Then the agents searched the man’s car and found much more than just a small bag.

Shopping bags with XTC pills
The man had not done his best to hide the drugs he wanted to take across the border. Behind the front seats, the agents found four pockets with XTC pills in a shopping bag, a total of seven kilos. There were also five kilos of heroin blocks in the car.

The man was taken to the desk and the car was confiscated.
