The DFB team missed the final in the Nations League. The German defense struggled against Portugal. Jérôme Boateng commented in his own way.

The German national team around national coach Julian Nagelsmann lost 1-2 in the Nations League on Wednesday evening. The coach itself was not satisfied with the performance and DFB captain Joshua Kimmich also emphasized that it was “one of our worst games”.

Only a black background can be seen on this, but the text written about it ensures conversation. The footballer provocatively asks the question: “Without Rüdiger @toniruediger, better right?”. There are also two emojis behind it. One puts his finger on the lips and in this context is to be understood as an invitation to the critics of being better calm. A clown emoji can also be recognized, apparently to suggest that the critics like clowns.

It is pretty certain, meanwhile: With his contribution, Boateng refers to the defeat of the DFB team against Portugal and the assumption that the missing rüdiger might have prevented the broke. Bavaria’s newcomer Jonathan Tah played in the defense, but who was serious and a good day (read the individual criticism here).

Before the game against Portugal, national coach Nagelsmann commented on the situation around Rüdiger and said: “The limit has been reached. He should not afford more, otherwise it has greater consequences. He knows that it was wrong.” You have to give Rüdiger the chance to do better and it is also important that “you also make people make mistakes”.
