Since 2006, the Alpe d’HuZes campaign has raised nearly 230 million euros for cancer research and to improve the quality of life of people with cancer. The enthusiasm is also great in Drenthe to contribute. Today, on the first Thursday of June, it is that time again.
Around 5000 participants will try to control the Alpe d’Huez in France several times. They do that a maximum of six times. They raise as much money as possible by sponsoring. It is an impressive battle with the motto: giving up is not an option!
