The police arrested someone this afternoon at Stationsplein in Emmen, after a report that someone with a firearm would have entered a building. A police spokesperson reports this.
Several police cars and agents, some with bullet -proof vests, arrived urgently. The area was temporarily dropped off and searched.
The police are still investigating the report. Whether a firearm has actually been found is not known at the moment.
