Cliteur is a philosopher law and since 2015 affiliated with the forum for Democracy. In recent years he has been regularly seen in the broadcasts of Unheard of the Netherlands.
The broadcaster calls the appointment of Cliteur in the Supervisory Board “an important boost for the implementation of the important mission of Unheard of the Netherlands”.
Arnold Karskens
On! Has had a turbulent year. Arnold Karskens was fired in October as chairman of On! After he had already been put on trouble before that. This happened in response to an investigation into the work culture at the broadcaster.
The judge said that on! Karskens had enough reason to dismiss, but the former chairman announced that he would appeal.
In the meantime, the Commissariaat for the Media (CvdM) is considering Omroep On! to impose an official fine and a warning. The broadcaster would, among other things, risk a fine because former director and former minister Reinette Klever would have been guilty of a conflict of interest.
