In recent years, Sherrock was busy making a name for the tournaments where both men and women can end up. She participated a few times in the World Cup (was the first woman to participate in 2019) and in 2021 became the first dartster ever to reach the eighth finals on a major, the Grand Slam or Darts.

That kind of performance is therefore not possible in 2026. The Queen of Ally Pally Must take a break as a result of a lingering kidney disease, for which she was already diagnosed in 2014. The 30-year-old recently let herself be shown that as a result of new medication she has received a swollen face (she says ‘Moon Face’).

“The only thing I want is practicing at home for a few hours a day – but I can’t even do that,” Sherrock says Online Darts. “I also had to cancel a few events lately, because I just don’t have endurance. I have to find myself again. I have to get healthy again – and once I have done that, anything is possible.”

“I just hope that I will be fit again in a year or two and will come back really well,” continues the militant dartster. “This year I am going all the way for the World Cup and the Grand Slam. If I leave for a year, I would rather leave with a bang.”
