Football player Robin Koch has decided to remain at Eintracht Frankfurt, according to the “Bild” newspaper and should receive a long-term contract by 2030 at the Hesse. According to this, the 28-year-old, which is courted by runner-up Bayer Leverkusen, is to sign a new working paper on improved conditions in the next few days.

Koch came to Eintracht from Leeds United in 2023, for which he previously played 85 competitive games. In the past season, he was one of the best defenseers in the Bundesliga and played a large part in third place, through which the Frankfurters only qualified for the Champions League for the second time in the club’s history.

Koch is currently with the national team, which will meet Portugal on Wednesday in the Nations League semi -finals. The final or the game for 3rd place is on Sunday. The new contract should be fixed at the latest at the latest.

According to “Bild” information, it is part of the deal that Koch will no longer have an exit clause against a hand money. This is still the case in his current contract, which runs until 2027.
