Alberto Stegeman says he caught a Dutch celebrity on pedophile feelings, but he does not yet come out with that name. “If who leaks out, then it is indeed a bomb.”
There is a regular guest in the Dutch talk show world who once participated in a talk group for pedophiles. At least, that is what SBS 6 journalist Alberto Stegeman sets during an interview Radio Veronica. At the moment he does not want to go outside with the name, but does not exclude the fact that this will happen at a later moment.
Talking group
Radio DJ Ferry Oomen submits it to Alberto. “I read in your book about a colleague of yours, who was once present at a talk group for pedophiles.”
He continues: “I don’t need to know all names, but I understood that it was about a kind of Dutch celebrity, about someone who is often present at a talk show. You didn’t have enough evidence for that, right? Can you tell something more about it, about that story?”
Big news
Alberto confirms that story. “Yes, it is true that that person might be present at a help group for pedophiles. Yes, if we were to leak out who that man is, then that is really very big news in the Netherlands.”
Why doesn’t he come out with that? “The point is that I recorded images with a hidden camera. At that time that was even less in quality than now, and we really tried to find out if it is him. We also had a desk examined of: yes, is it him?”
Virtually sure
That agency is pretty sure, says Alberto. “Yes. They could actually say it almost for sure, but not dúizing percent sure, and so I could never bring it. I am sure that if I show you the images, you say,” It can’t be other than that he is, “but to be able to bring it on television, that’s not possible.”
Ferry then: “But do you have to check that that person was also lucky. Because it is still a person we often see?”
A bomb
Alberto clearly lets his words. He says: “It is a … If it leaks out that he has a sexual preference for children, that’s a bomb, yes.”
Ferry: “Good, well … we’ll never know.”
Alberto nuances that: “Well, we will never know … That is the case at the moment. But researchers only stop when it really stopped.”
