What’s next with Rayan Philippe? The fact that he will leave Eintracht Braunschweig seems decided. A move to Mainz 05 has apparently been shattered.

Eintracht Braunschweig will probably have to do without top scorer Rayan Philippe in the future-this has been no longer a secret for weeks. The previous favorite in advertising around the BTSV striker has now apparently said goodbye to the poker. According to a report by the Pay TV broadcaster “Sky”, a change from Philippe to Bundesliga club Mainz 05 burst.

Accordingly, Mainz was not ready to transfer the agreed transfer fee of two to two and a half million euros to the Oker. Particularly bitter: With regard to a Philippe transfer to Mainz, there is already an oral agreement. According to the report, Philippe is now all the more disappointed with the withdrawal of the Bundesliga club.

However, there is still no hope of staying the top attacker at Eintracht Braunschweig. So the French farm is still certain. And despite the bursting Mainz deal, the path of the 24-year-old probably leads to the Bundesliga.

Philippe switched to Braunschweig from the Luxembourg club FC Swift Hesperingen in the summer of 2023. After initial problems, he had established himself as a regular player and became more and more a fixed point in the BTSV attack.

In the past season, he was the best attacker at Eintracht with 14 goals and six templates and had a significant role in relegation. In total, he comes to 22 goals and eleven templates in 63 competitive games for the BTSV. According to estimates of the data portal “Transfermarkt.de”, the market value of Philippe is 3 million euros.
