Peter Bosz may still have a prize about the past season. The trainer of national champion PSV has a chance to win the Rinus Michels Award. This is the prize for the best coach of the last football year.

Also among the women is the PSV trainer in the race for this title: Roeland ten Berge. His team had to leave the honor to FC Twente in both the battle for the national championship and in the cup tournament.

Competitors for Bosz
So there is a chance that Bosz will take the scale just like last season and will be named the best trainer. He has three competitors. These are the now at Ajax, the number two of the Eredivisie, Francesco Farioli, Ron Jans, who finished fourth in the Eredivisie with FC Utrecht, and Paul Simonis, the coach of cup winner Go Ahead Eagles.

The winner will be put forward on Wednesday 2 July at the National Football Coach Congress on Papendal.

Then the winner will also be known for the election of Best Coach in the Kitchen Champion Division (KKD). One of the four candidates is Anthony Correia, who promoted to the highest football class with Telstar at the expense of Willem II on Sunday. The other nominees are Rick Kruys (champion of the KKD), Ruben den Uil, who finished second with Excelsior and also makes promotion, and Melvin Boel who was only eliminated for promotion in the after competition with FC Dordrecht. Willem II was responsible for this.

Joran Pot is the biggest contender among the women. This trainer became champion in the Azerion Eredivisie with FC Twente and took the KNVB Beker with the Eastern Eredivisie club.

For the elections in the three categories, all head trainers from professional football can cast their vote. The organization is based on Coaches Paid Football.
