Zverev benefits from Griekspoor task
Alexander Zverev – Tallon Griekspoor 6: 4, 3: 0
In such a short time, Alexander Zverev has not reached a quarter -finals for a long time. The round of 16 of the Hamburgers on Monday on Court Suzanne Lenglen just went for just under an hour. The reason: Opponent Tallon Griekspoor had to give up at the beginning of the second set due to an abdominal muscle injury at 6: 4 and 3: 0 for Zverev.
Already in the course of the first sentence it could be seen that Griekspoor had to struggle and was not really involved. After an early 0: 3 deficit, Zverev dominated the game at will and only gave up one game until his opponent was abandoned. Zverev now saves strength before his quarter-finals, in which he probably meets Mit-Favorit Novak Djokovic.
Gauff after starting lightning in the quarter-finals
Ekaterina Alexandrova – Coco Gauff 0: 6, 5: 7
17 minutes-as long as it takes to Germany’s amateur tennis places until a match begins after importing (the author of these lines speaks from experience). Coco Gauff has also taken up in her round of 16 minutes. The stupid for her opponent Ekaterina Alexandrova: after that it was 5-0 for the American. The Gauff, which was placed on number two, literally overrun her opponent at the beginning, there was no resistance at the start.
The good for the spectators on Court Philippe Chatrier, who had made it so early to the largest place in the facility: afterwards the match finally became a match. The first set was still 6-0 away, but in the second round it went high -class back and forth – with the better end for Gauff, which is in the quarter -finals.
