FC Erzgebirge Aue continues to work hard on the squad for the new season. With Moritz Seiffert, the violets presented the sixth newcomer – and after Ryan Malone (32) the second from FC Ingolstadt 04. The left -back comes to Aue like his defense colleague. Due to thigh injuries, Seiffert only completed seven games in the past season.
“Moritz Seiffert brings pace and delivered a complete season in the 3rd league in Ingolstadt before his injury. During his time at Viktoria Berlin we had him on the piece. We are happy about this transfer and hope that Moritz quickly settles up with us,” said sports director Matthias Heidrich.
Seiffert added: “I am very much looking forward to the new task at such a traditional club as FC Erzgebirge Aue. I come from a season that was not optimal for me personally – that is why I am very grateful to those responsible for the trust that they have given me. I only heard good things about the fans, the atmosphere and the cohesion in Aue.”
