The evening rush hour started early on Wednesday afternoon. Because of the Ascension Weekend, there are already many small traffic jams around a quarter to four, which are getting bigger. There is already 400 kilometers of traffic jams throughout the Netherlands. Especially on the A2 towards the south and on the A50 in both directions the connection is blown.

The longest traffic jam is around four o’clock on the A27, from Utrecht to Breda. Motorists end up in a traffic jam of one hour between Noordeloos and Nieuwendijk. There are also long traffic jams on the A2, A50 and A58. On the A2 from Eindhoven to Utrecht, motorists end up in a traffic jam of half an hour, between the Vught junction and the Maasbrug. There is also a traffic jam of 35 minutes on the A50 from Eindhoven to Arnhem, between Oss-Oost and the Maasbrug.

Also on the A59 in the direction of Oss and on the A58 in both directions, traffic stands still and you have to take about a 15 -minute delay into account. There are also small files of ten minutes on many other roads.
