A 45-year-old Emmenaar was arrested at a border control of the German police. He turned out to have to go to jail for more than two years.
The Turkish Emmenaar was caught during bus check at Bunde. The Bundespolizei asked the man to identify himself, after which he stated that he had no proof of identity in his pocket. The agents doubted that and searching his things. His papers were found there.
The man still had ten months in prison open from 2022 for driving under influence. Last year he was convicted for a year and five months in prison for a drug offense. He just never showed up to sit out his sentence and so an arrest warrant was issued against him. The police still delivered him to a prison.
