Luuk Ikink risks a huge media flict with Jan Slagter, the fanatic boss of Omroep Max. According to the presenter of RTL Boulevard, the broom has to go through the NPO.
It is no secret that Jan Slagter is the most fanatic broadcaster who walks around in Hilversum. If the word ‘cutbacks’ falls somewhere, Jan immediately runs red and he storms on the nearest talk show studio. We constantly see the broadcaster again angry that all programs disappear from the tube due to the cutbacks.

Critics, however, believe that it is an occasional argument and that everything is really attributed to the cuts. RTL Boulevard star Luuk Ikink, for example, now respond skeptically to the news that Plakshot disappears from the tube ‘because of the cutbacks’, a program that really does not ring a bell with the masses.
Luuk points out that such a slabshot really doesn’t cost a lot of money. “In the context of transparency, it would be pretty nice if the broadcasters also announce what the removal of all these (coincidentally not too best scoring programs) ultimately yields,” he writes on his Instagram.
“NPO 3 away!”
According to Luuk, the broom has to go through it much more at the NPO, which has a mega budget compared to RTL and SBS, even after the cutbacks. “No matter how silly, in a year, 150 million must be cut instead of 20 million. That requires much larger steps and sacrifices than to victim a program here and there.”
“You can now get a program from NPO 3, but I think it is better to think if you can still pay NPO 3 at all in 2027,” he concludes.
Jan is not going to like this …
