The hip -hop band Kneecap’s member has been prosecuted for supporting Hizbollah.

Northern Ireland hip -hip -hop band Kneecap Mo chasright name Liam o’hannaaccused of a terrorist offense associated with supporting the Hizbollah organization. Charax has been charged with a incident in London last November.
London police say that according to the charges, Chara showed a flag supporting Hizbollah at the band’s London gig on November 21, 2024.
He is due to arrive at the Westminster court on June 18 to respond to the charges.
Earlier in May, London police reported that they were investigating the videos circulating online, allegedly Kneecap members claiming death for British MPs and providing support to Hambolla and Hizbollah, BBC reported.
According to the band, they have not supported terrorist organizations or incited violence against anyone. According to them, the videos have been disconnected from their context.
Supporting both Hamas and Hizbollah is a crime in Britain.
In April, Kneecap made messages of Gaza’s war at the Coachella Festival in the United States. The band’s performance received widespread criticism, and the band’s agent company IAG stopped cooperation with them.
After the Coachella gig, the online gigs began to spread on the web, which the anti -terrorism authorities began to investigate.
Several Kneecap gigs have been canceled since the videos spread. The band is scheduled to perform at the Flow Festival next August in Suvilahti, Helsinki. So far, no Flow gig has been canceled despite the charges.
