A man was seriously injured in a shooting in the Agatha Dekenstraat in Amsterdam-West. The police found the man in De Clerqstraat. The victim was rushed to hospital.
Police received a report of the shooting at around 7:45 p.m. On arrival, however, they did not find the man in Agatha Dekenstraat, but a little further on De Clerqstraat. Police are investigating the incident in both streets.
A witness told a reporter at the scene that the victim was allegedly shot in the leg, but police cannot confirm this. The police are calling on witnesses to come forward and are also asking people with possible CCTV images to come forward.
