Some Inter-fans had probably not believed that their team was still winning the game against Barça. They left the stadium prematurely. When trying to get back in, they failed.

What a football evening on Tuesday in Milan: Inter moves into the final of the Champions League after an extension against FC Barcelona. The fans in the Giuseppe-Mazza Stadium celebrate the team frenetically after the final whistle of the 120 gripping minutes. But at that time there is no longer all supporters. Like that?

The 87th minute ran when Barça striker Raphinha scored 3-2. Inter would have been excreted with this result. Some “Interisti” apparently left the stadium, no longer believed that their team would come back again. But that should take revenge. Because with his goal in the third minute of added time, captain Acerbi forced the extension that was hardly considered possible. There, a goal from Joker Davide Frattesi then secured the final ticket for Munich. But all of the fans didn’t get that live.

A video of the English TV broadcaster TNT Sport shows several inter-followers who apparently left the stadium after the meantime and then wanted to go back in. In vain: According to the “Corriere della Sera”, a folder refused to access them and even threatened the police. The “Gazzetta Dello Sport” and “La Stampa” also reported on the incident. In the video you can see how the fans show their tickets, but shakes them with their heads.

The reason is clearly regulated: Paragraph 5.5 of the UEFA-Ticket-ABB states that stadium visitors do not receive any access again after leaving the arena.

Ex-professional Thierry Henry criticized the behavior of some fans as a TV expert on American television: “You have to stay in the stadium. It is not over. What a fan you are? Stay in, stay.”

While the viewers concerned missed the decisive goal, the remaining Tifosi in the time-honored San Siro ensured a goosebumps backdrop.

The video awakens with many memories. For example to the semi -finals 2022 between Real Madrid and Manchester City: Fans left the stadium at 0: 1 shortly before the end – and missed how real the game was still shooting.

Similar scenes have already taken place among German fans. Around 2013 when Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals made the “miracle against Malaga” through two goals in added time. At the time, numerous BVB supporters also left the stadium prematurely. You will have annoyed yourself similarly as the renegade inter-fans.
