The sneaker brand Veja now also offers sandals.
With the “Etna” model, the brand is expanding its range with sandals, Veja said on Wednesday. So far, the French company with Brazilian roots has only had sneakers, shoe care products and accessories.
The ETNA sandals is a “light and versatile option for warm days that proves itself both in the city and in nature,” says the message. In different colors-depending on the style or with other sole color-they will come onto the mark, such as beige, purple black and olive black.
The sandals are made in Brazil made of suede (upper material), which comes from the state of Rio Grande do Sul and is tanned there “without the use of dangerous or forbidden chemicals”. A PFC-free impregnation should also offer protection in light rain. The inner sole is from the polymer ethylene vinyl acetate-17 percent recycled-and the outsole made of rubber-40 percent of them from the Amazon area and ten percent.
The latest product of the Veja family is available from May 14th at a price of 120 euros.
