The coaching wave in the lower house does not subside two game days before the end of the season. After the throwing out of Cologne Struber, the next coach is now out of the end.

The next coach is shaking in the 2nd Bundesliga? Greuther Fürth also remains without victory in the eighth game in a row. In the 0-1 at Hertha BSC, the team of coach Jan Siewert disappointed and had to give up. After the final whistle, frustration spread in parts of the travelers who traveled with us.

According to the “Bild”, coach Siewert is under pressure according to the “Bild” after the negative series, which brings the cloverleaf in the risk of relegation. His contract runs until 2026, but a separation no longer seems to be excluded.

In any case, sports director Stephan Fürstner avoided a clear statement about the future of the coach at Sky. “We will analyze everything in peace. We don’t do anything wild and will not fall into action,” said Fürstner. The distance to the relegation place is only three points left.

Managing Director Holger Schwiewagner and Fürstner saw observers in the Olympic Stadium after the final whistle in an intensive conversation – in the middle of the almost deserted interview zone. It was initially open whether it was about Jan Siewert’s future. Fürstner then disappeared into the catacombs and neither took part in the press conference, nor did he respond to inquiries.

According to information from the “Nürnberger Nachrichten”, Schwiewagner and Fürstner initially spoke out for Siewert. However, a planned press conference on Monday morning was postponed at short notice.

A week ago, the sports director decidedly rejected a coaching discussion. After the home game against Ulm, he said that “zero -kommanull” wanted to talk about a change of coach. In Berlin he said much more reserved: “It is not a good guide to make premature decisions or make statements right after the game,” said Fürstner at Sky.

In any case, the mood in Fürth is heated up. As the “picture” continues, after the final whistle in Berlin there was a word battle between midfielder Maximilian Dietz and a fan. The 23-year-old is said to have even indicated a physical examination.

Meanwhile, the “picture” U19 coach Roberto Hilbert brings into play as a possible interim solution. The former international was recently involved in the professionals in training when assistant coach Stefan Kleineheismann was missing because of his football teacher training.

The balance sheet with Hilbert’s A-youth is mixed. In the preliminary round of the new DFB youth league, the team landed in the penultimate place. In the current main round (League B), Fürth’s U19 is currently in fifth place – behind Kaiserslautern, Wiesbaden, the Stuttgart Kickers and Schott Mainz.
