FC Schalke 04 has equipped defense talent Tidiane Touré (20) with a professional contract by June 30, 2028. The Frenchman native had only come to the royal blue from the youngsters of 1st FC Köln last summer. On the 29th matchday, Touré celebrated his second division debut against Jahn Regensburg (0: 2). For the regional league reserve, the right-back has reached 18 missions to date, in which he contributed four goals and two templates.
“Tidiane Touré brought himself into the focus of the license team with a lot of hard work and commitment in the games and in training at the U23 of Jakob Fimpel. He deserved his first assignment in Regensburg. It is therefore pleased to prepare.
Touré added: “My first license player contract is something very special. I thank those responsible for the trust. It shows what is possible when you always try to do your best. I feel very comfortable on Schalke after around a year. The step last summer in the briefs was just right. I want to continue working on myself and improve myself.”
