On Sunday morning, a train ran into a bike at the station in Vught. The bike was on the track without anyone being there. Vandals probably thrown it down there. After the collision there were no trains for 45 minutes. There is not much left of the bike.
The collision happened around seven o’clock when the train from Eindhoven was en route to Den Bosch. ProRail employees arrived on site to clean up the remains of the bike. After a while the train was able to continue its way and the other train traffic could continue driving.
According to ProRail’s incidents fighters, the bike must have been thrown on the track in the morning, because trains were still driven on the route during the night.
