German gets lifelong after murder to end up in prison as “way out for his problems”

A court in the German city of Frankfurt am Main has sentenced a 30-year-old man to a lifelong prison sentence for murder, reports the German press agency DPA. In March 2024, the man put a beggar dead in the station neighborhood of Frankfurt am Main with the aim of being arrested and so fleeing his hopeless situation.
