It starts on Tuesday 29 April: final party at the Olimpico in Rome on 26 and 27 May
The youth games are back with 110 sports events organized throughout Italy which will involve over 100 thousand students of the fourth and fifth classes of the primary and secondary schools of grade. The boys will be artfully to the provincial and regional phases of the initiative promoted in synergy by the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, and by the Minister for Sport and young people, Andrea Abodi, together with the Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci, by the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida, by the Minister of the Environment and Energy Safety, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin and the Minister for disability, Alessandra Locatelli, with the support of the 7th Senate Commission, chaired by Senator Roberto Marti and the VII commission of the Chamber of Deputies, chaired by the honorable Federico Mollicone, in continuation of the experimentation started last year.
OBJECTIVE

The goal of the “youth games” is to promote sports training as an integral part of the school path, starting from primary school, and the recognition of motor education and sporting practice as fundamental values for the expression of the personality, as fundamental components of the training and school curriculum.

The one hundred and ten events that will take place from Tuesday 29 April are organized by the regional school offices, Sport and Health, Coni and Cip, and will see the students involved in inclusive sports parties with protagonists, in this experimental phase, five disciplines, volleyball, basketball, athletics, gymnastics, and the emerging pickleball. Of great importance, the inclusion in the program also of the Paralympic dimension with Baskin is of great importance. The big national final feast is scheduled for May 26 and 27th at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.
