The head coach’s contract is dated until summer 2026. The fact that he fulfills this seems almost excluded.
The Dutchman Van Wonderen has stabilized Schalke since taking office in October and led to the secured medium of the table, got a good 31 points from 23 games – and thus actually fulfilled his most important order. But he did not develop the team in a playful way.
Neururer: The coach is not the problem on Schalke!
But that was not Van Wonderen’s failure, said cult coach Peter Neururer recently.
