Murder suspect Hans H. (56) from Schoonebeek does not appear in court again today. He is currently stuck for the murder of his ex-partner Tonnie. In addition, he is also suspected of mistreatment of both the victim and one of his daughters.
Today, the second, preparatory session on the murder case is on the role in the court of Zwolle. The first took place in February. Then H. did not appear on the hearing either. At the time, he stayed at the infirmary of the Haaglanden prison in Scheveningen. His counselor at the time did not want to say anything about his medical condition or reason for absence last time. This to the court’s irritation.
The 53-year-old Tonnie was awaited by her ex-partner Hans H. at her work, De Kameleon in Hardenberg, and stabbed several times. She was killed. After the 56-year-old suspect was thwarted by bystanders during his flight attempt, he stuck himself in his belly several times. H. survived this.
In the meantime, the suspect of lawyer has changed. The new counsel for H. is Niels Dorrestein, known for the murder case around Anne Faber. Dorrestein confirms that his client is not there today. Why does he explain during the session?
In the run -up to the murder, there have been problems between the man and the woman for a long time. H. was difficult to break the relationship and continued to pop up at the house of his ex-wife.
Mayor Eric van Oosterhout reported that last year he was informed in May that H. would have tried to set fire to Tonnie’s house in Schoonebeek. H. received a house ban in October, which was still on the moment of the stabbing.
Breaking that prohibition is now also part of the accusation. At the previous session it was reported that K. was being investigated psychologically. The aim was to complete this investigation before today’s session. There is not yet a date for the substantive treatment.
