The mask also had KalPan Andreas Okany. The lynx challenged the hit, but the paint remained on the board.
– Congratulations to KalPa. The board reads 1-0. Then it has to be accepted that the game has ended so. Quite a lot of conversation is probably causing there, Niemelä rushed.

Big difference
Niemelä praised Ilves’ game as excellent.
– Perhaps we played our best game in the series. We managed to play great in the guest. We created the required number of goals – very good. When you do 0 goals, you will not win in at least 60 minutes.
The lynx shot 56 times in the game when KalPa bets were recorded 22. Stefanos Lekkas rejected with a goal 24 times, Ilves Dominik Pavlat 11.
KalPa head coach Petri Karjalainen admitted that the Kuopio people were at times in the washing machine. Ilves was able to control the disc and rhythm.
– A really tough game in terms of fighting. Especially in the first round, we were clearly behind. We constantly lost every fight on the ice. The game looked like it.
– We were able to handle the defense. The goalkeeper was stunning. The five fought, blocked and got small clubs in front. We were able to clean loose hockey. We were more effective. Very tough fight.
The series will be interrupted on Friday in Tampere. Four wins are required for the final place.
