One in five Dutch schools does not score enough, reading level shockingly low: ‘Too many children without a sufficient basis’

No fewer than one in five of the Dutch schools investigated received an insufficient of the Education Inspectorate last year. This is evident from the latest state of education, in which the inspection issues an annual report. A shocking conclusion is that secondary education students even seem to read worse than in primary school.
