Volodin urged to punish the girl who ran out on the air “to the fullest extent”

The speaker of the State Duma called on law enforcement agencies to deal with the incident on Channel One, when a girl ran out on air with an anti-war poster. The punishment should be “not at all in the plane of a hooligan trick,” he said.

Channel One employee Marina Ovsyannikova, who on March 14 ran out with an anti-war poster behind the back of the TV presenter during the evening newscast, should be punished “to the fullest extent in the conditions of the time when a special military operation is taking place,” declared State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin on Telegram.

“This official of the TV channel has not a drop of concern for our guys, for our country. Law enforcement needs to sort this out. Not at all in the plane of a hooligan trick, but in all severity in the conditions of the time when a special military operation is taking place, ”he wrote.

According to Volodin, the State Duma Committee on Security will take control of the issue.
