Doctors in sight: the government limits illness reports to three months and doctors risk fines

In her policy to get the long -term sick back to work, the federal government takes care of doctors. During the first year of incapacity for work, patients may prescribe illness reports for a maximum of three months and in the event of abnormalities they risk fines. The government approved those measures on the proposal of Minister of Health and Social Affairs Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit).
