The fire broke out around 5:45 am in an apartment on the first floor of the complex. Several units of the fire brigade arrived to extinguish the fire. The fire brigade quickly scaled to ‘very large fire’.
All residents of the nine apartments of the small flat have been evacuated. They are currently being taken care of in a nearby police station. According to a spokesperson for the Noord-Holland Noord Security Region, no injuries fell.
