Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has filed a complaint against Özgür Özel, the leader of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), because of defamation. The latter had previously stated that the president is at the head of a “junta”. The lawyer of Erdogan announced this on Tuesday on X.
