When the fog rises, the Dwingelderveld shows itself again of its most beautiful side. On the access road of the visitor center towards Schaapskooi on the Benderse, street makers of Buning from Zuidwolde are busy laying the vowels. The asphalt is gone, former shepherd Jan Mos sees that it happens neatly. Just around the corner, Mos points to the shepherd’s house. “Our daughter was born there, we had a good time there.”
