President of the Republic Alexander Stubb has opened the cottage season. Stubb tells about this on his Instagram account in the form of cottage pictures.
In its publication, Stubb opens Finnish cottage culture to its foreign followers. Stubb says that the cottage is a kind of hiding place for Finns.
Stubb also talks about their family’s own cottage in the publication.
– We bought ours five years ago. The cottage had no running water or electricity. Now we have both, although at the opening weekend of the season, we are without an osmosis device that turns seawater into fresh water, Stubb describes his cottage.
– This is so wonderful and peaceful in the middle of everything. It was cold but the sauna was warm, Stubb concludes.

Over the years, President Stubb has published several times from his cottage. Based on the pictures, the cottage is located in the archipelago.
In addition to his own summer cottage, Stubb has a summer office in Kultaranta in Naantali’s natural land for presidentiality.
