It is without a doubt the low point of Arjen Lubach’s commercial adventure to date: the performance of stand-up comedian Stefan Pop. After seeing the rehearsals, Arjen could have decided to protect that audience hunter against himself, but the canal hen decided to throw him hard for the lions.
‘This is painful’
Wilfred Genee wanted to discuss this bad performance of the week in today Inside, but Arjen and RTL forbidden him to broadcast the images. Now, in the episode from yesterdayhe still does that. “We’re doing it.”

According to Hélène, Arjen should have known better. With friends like Arjen you no longer need enemies as a starting comedian. “No, this was just not his best performance, I think. Johan thinks Arjen is a lot of bales at home. “That boy gets criticism for the first time in his life, isn’t it? He is always written in. And that has nothing to do whether you are at the commercial or belong to the public broadcaster, but what he does is just very moderate. So he has comedians that he invites you to chase away the people.”
Advertising block
According to Wilfred, Arjen simply does not fit RTL. “Also because there is now advertising in between … you usually went on at one pace and then you were watching and you thought: quite nice to look at. And I have to say: there are sometimes good jokes in it, but now it is also interrupted again.”
The performance with Mike Boddhé of the week was also very bad, he concludes. “He is a very gifted pianist, but what that was again … You have to look, then you get this. It is two very talented people, but they also feel that it is not entirely …”
