Holstein Kiel has set a sign and extended the relegation battle with coach Marcel Rapp. As the Bundesliga’s bottom of the table reported, the 45-year-old’s contract is now valid for two years until 2028.
Rapp has been a storks of the storks since October 2021 and got an average of 1.38 points from 126 games. At the age of three and almost six months, he is the coach with the second longest term in the German Football House.
“Marcel Rapp has been working very successfully at Holstein Kiel for three and a half years now. He has a clear idea of football, is extremely meticulously and fully identifies himself with the way we have been living here for many years. His motivation is to continuously develop the team together with his team of coaches. We are fully convinced that he is the right coach for the KSV and the club is just as resolved by stormy Leading times and will continue to proceed with a clear plan, ”said sports manager Carsten Wehlmann.
Rapp, who led the KSV into the Bundesliga for the first time in its club history: “Since I started here we have all experienced many great moments together. The club has developed extremely on many levels and we are currently on an exciting and challenging journey that is far from over. My work with the people in the club and with the entire environment in Kiel and all of Schleswig-Holstein continues to fill me with joy. Only for me, but for my whole family, I would like to help shape the further path of the club together with my great team and use all my energy for this.
