The American fashion group Capri Holdings Limited will have to do without one of its most important leaders in the future.
On Tuesday, the parent company of Michael Kors, Versace and Jimmy Choo announced that Thomas Edwards, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), will leave the company on June 20. Edwards wanted to “take a different opportunity,” said the group.
After his farewell, Edwards’ areas of responsibility will be temporarily taken over by other managers until his current items can be filled again. For example, Rajal Mehta, the Chief Financial Officer of the label Michael Kors, is also to lead the financial department of the overall group as Interims-CFO. Patricia Gabriel, Senior Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer from Capri, receives greater responsibility for the surgical activities of the group. Both will report directly to Group CEO John Idol in their new roles.
