The fire brigade received the fire report around 2:30 am and quickly scaled up because of the blazing flames. Many units arrived to extinguish the fire. Due to the size of the fire, it was decided to evacuate the entire apartment building.
The residents were taken care of in a hotel nearby. Several residents had to be checked by the ambulance personnel because of the inhalation of smoke, but nobody had to go to the hospital.
Around 4.45 am the fire brigade announced that most residents were back to their own home. For the residents of the building where the fire started and the adjacent apartments, shelter has been arranged. The cause of the fire was not yet clear.
